Who this is for
You're a freelancer or small business owner with real experience behind you. You know your craft, you've built something that works, and your clients trust you. What you're not is a tech person — and you've no wish to become one. That's fine. Nothing here assumes you are. Maybe you've had a good play with ChatGPT; maybe you've barely begun — either way, you're in the right room.
What you can feel is the ground shifting: AI is everywhere, and you suspect you could be doing more with it, with far less of the busywork.
You've also got two entirely reasonable worries. You don't want to bolt AI on in a way that breaks the trust you've earned with your customers. And you don't want to look up a year from now and find you've fallen behind.
This workshop is built for exactly that tension: curious, capable, and careful. Years of judgement, new to AI — that's the sweet spot we're teaching to.
The three-part sort
We don't hand you a pile of tools and wish you luck. We work through one simple model that sorts everything you do into three:
Automate
The repetitive, low-judgement tasks that eat your week. Hand these to AI and take the time back.
Keep
The work that is yours: your taste, your relationships, your judgement — the reasons people hire you and not a template. This is where trust lives, and it stays with you.
Augment
Take the best of what you do and make it better, with AI helping you go further and deeper than you could alone.
Get the sort right, and AI stops being a threat to your reputation and becomes an advantage behind it.
What to expect
A live, hands-on online session. You leave having started the sort for your own business, not just having watched us talk. The exact shape flexes to the room: smaller groups go deeper and more personal, larger groups get more range and more worked examples. Either way you leave with your own automate / keep / augment map and a clear first step.
We'll be working in Claude live, showing the workflow in real time. The thinking you'll learn — the framework, the judgement, the workflow — works with whatever AI you already use, whether that's ChatGPT or anything else. You'll also leave with a few ready-made Skills, built for Claude, to download and play with on your own work afterwards.
Across the session we'll look at three things together:
- Ways to build AI into your business infrastructure
- Things you can try out straight away
- Plans you can make for the future
(Same core content as our in-person session; this online run is also our warm-up for a face-to-face workshop in September.)
What you'll need
- Most of what you'll learn is tool-agnostic and useful whatever AI you use today. The specific ready-made Skills we give you to take away are built for Claude, which is what we'll demonstrate live.
- A free Claude account is enough to follow along and use the Skills — you'll just switch on "code execution" in Settings (we'll show you how on the day).
- The free plan has tight daily limits you'll likely hit during a hands-on session, so a Claude Pro account (their paid plan, around €18/month) gives you a much smoother ride. Perfectly fine to start free and upgrade later.
